31 Days of Restoration // Day 12

We had some last minute changes to our weekend plans , and ended up have lots of down time, which was so lovely. Lazy weekends are just plain good for the soul. After a couple of weeks of crazy (mostly due to a certain adorable puppy), it felt like a breath of fresh air to not have any restricting plans or deadlines. So we snuggled, played, made homemade pizza, and just relaxed as a little family. Pure bliss, I tell ya!

Anyhow. Carving down time into a busy schedule seems difficult at first, but really is so necessary to restore the spirit. We’ll definitely be working more towards scheduled quality time together, and will take full advantage of accidental cancelled plans in the meantime.
