Glorious Morning Twenty-Seven

Some relationships take work. Marriage is the hardest and most rewarding one of these. Best friends grow up an have to learn to adapt. Our closest relationships are usually the most high maintenance. Except when they’re not. Once in a blue moon, you meet somebody who is cut from the same cloth, who gets you on a molecular level. For me, that special lady was Sarah. We met at eighth grade orientation and were instant friends. And while we’ve gone through different phases of keeping in good touch, the girl just knows me through and through. Because of how wonderful she is and how easy it is to be with her, she’s stayed dear to me all of these years (ten of them – can you believe that?). Wishing you the happiest of birthdays, darling Sarah. I hope it’s spectacular!
