Glorious Morning Twelve

We are back in the state of South Carolina and all is right with the world. Joe and I have only had two homes since we’ve been married, and they’ve been lovely and they’ve been ours, but I’m not sure that I will ever truly feel at home outside of this glorious palmetto state. It’s where I was born and raised. It’s where I learned to ride a bike and drive a car. It’s where I met Joe and married him. It’s where my heart feels whole – my people are here (except the rest of the Bailey’s, but we have it on good word that they won’t be in Jersey for long). But more importantly, my tiny puppy dog is here. And if that doesn’t mean home, I don’t know what does.
