The One in November

Let me start off by saying that I have no idea where I want this blog to go.

I’m sort of in a 31-days-of-thankfulness-withdrawal, and I have no direction for my next post or where to go with this blog.  Do I blog only about events in my life?  Include awesome things that I have found, like the world’s best Christmas presents or mascara, or my new favorite recipe?  More pictures?  More words or deep thoughts or quotes?  I’m not even sure that I know where to start.

I am a regular follower of half a dozen blogs that post on a regular basis, and they’re all a little different.  One posts a whole bunch of things, from happenings to life advice.  Another is strictly a fashion blog, one is a spiritual encouragement blog.  There’s so many ding dong blogs out there.  But what do I want mine to be like? It’s half of me putting stuff out there and half of readers picking up.  So what do you want to hear more of from me?  This blog is for my benefit, yes, but it should also be for the people reading it.  Maybe my grandpa wants to hear more about my everyday life and my best friend wants more recipes because she only cooks brown rice and vegetables.

So pretty please do two things for me:

1) leave a comment and let me know what you want to hear more of, be it marriage or food or photos or thoughts or whatever.

2) stick with me.

I can’t tell you where I’m going with this blog (or anything in life, for that matter), but I can tell you that the ride will be so great, because that’s what life is about.  Cliche – it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey.

  1. At this time I’d like to tell you that I love your blog and am so happy that I stumbled upon it. I like that its sort of a hodgepodge. A little of this, a dash of that, and a big serving of love. I think it takes a lot of guts to post your life and feelings on the old world wide web. Also, there isn’t anything specific I suggest you blog about, I just enjoy reading about your life and adventures in general.
