Why did I…?

Decide it would be a good idea to go to grad school?

Try one of those single serving mug-cakes?

Put my apartment key in my sock while on a run?

Not charge my ipod fully before my run?

Move away from the comfort of my home full of family members?

Don’t worry.  This is just a Tuesday tirade.  I decided it would be a good idea to go to graduate school because there’s still a lot more I want to learn, and I like getting paid to learn.  I decided to try one of those DIY mug cake things because I saw it on pinterest and the picture looked really good, but the rubbery result was a total waste of perfectly good chocolate chips.  The apartment key placement was dumb, as was the uncharged ipod that completely died for the first time ever.  But luckily I found the key and the ipod was fully charged in a few hours.  And I moved away from my home and my family because it was just that time.  I miss them a ton, and it’s hard not knowing anyone here in Charlottesville, but it won’t last.  We will make a home for ourselves here soon, and while it is hard to be away from my family, they love and support me and aren’t more than five hours away when I need them.

I am so thankful for such a great support system, and for a God who keeps his promises.
